SEO Consultant & Web Designer in New Orleans
I’ve been helping small businesses grow through SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for nearly ten years. I spent the first six at an award winning agency in South Carolina. After moving to Louisiana in 2020, I started my own SEO agency.
I’m passionate about helping local businesses get more eyes on their brand, acquire quality leads, and grow profitably – and I believe (for most local businesses) SEO is one of the best ways to do all three.
I would love to talk to you if:

Common Search Engine Optimization FAQ
How much does SEO cost?
SEO costs depend on the keywords you want to target, your competition, how you currently rank, and how quickly you want to rank. My local SEO packages typically range from $750/mo for lower competition industries up to $2000/mo for higher competition industries.
How should I go about choosing a New Orleans SEO company?
There are some great SEO firms in New Orleans, outside of my own. First, I’d say make sure the company has proven experience and can show case studies of successful SEO campaigns within your industry (or a similar industry at least). Also, ask them for a mapped out gameplan and a forecast – nothing is guaranteed in SEO, but a good SEO will have a rough idea of how long it should take you to rank. Lastly, make sure they’re people you genuinely would want to work with.
Do I need a website first before doing SEO?
I would definitely recommend it. You could rank a Google Business Profile without a website, but a website definitely helps ranking potential, adds validity, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg these days. It also allows you to rank outside of the local map pack as well, in the organic rankings.
What's the difference between local SEO and typical SEO?
Local SEO is all about ranking locally – usually for keywords like [your service] in [your location]. For local searches, you’ve got a huge opportunity in the local map pack as well as the organic results, so a big emphasis is placed on Google Business Profile, local citations, and local links.
Is New Orleans a competitive city for local SEO?
It depends on the industry and how many competitors are really investing in SEO. It’s probably no surprise restaurants and hotels are extremely competitive. The roofing, landscaping, and air conditioning industries are fairly competitive as well. That said, some industries aren’t as difficult to rank in New Orleans as they might be in similar-sized cities.
Why use WordPress instead of building a custom site?
Websites designed and developed without using a CMS do have their perks. They’re often simpler and not weighed down with excess files, which can mean they perform better. They can also be more secure. But on the downside, they usually require more time and effort to build, which means they’re more expensive. Without a CMS, it can be difficult for clients to make changes on their own. And any solution you need would need to be developed manually, whereas WordPress has a huge library of plugins (tools) for just about any application or function you need on your site.
Do you offer website maintenance or hosting?
Yes, we offer a few different ongoing packages for hosting, maintenance, and support as needed. All of these offerings are month-to-month, and they’re optional. If you want, I can hand everything over to you post-launch for you to manage.
